When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by August 15, 2025. You can RSVP using the link above or by contacting us directly. If we haven’t heard from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend—though we’ll miss you!
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony will be held at Sturgeon Point Union Church (119 Irene Ave, Fenelon Falls, ON K0M 1N0). The reception will follow at the Olympia Restaurant (106 Kent St W, Lindsay, ON K9V 2Y4). There is a 35-minute drive between the two locations, so please plan your travel accordingly to arrive on time.
What’s the timeline for the day?
The ceremony will begin at 2 PM at Sturgeon Point Union Church. The reception kicks off at 5:30 PM at the Olympia Restaurant with cocktails, dinner, and speeches. Then at 9 PM, we open the dance floor—so bring your best moves and join us for the party!
What’s the dress code?
Cocktail attire is encouraged. We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Please avoid white and kindly leave the jeans at home! While the wedding will be indoors, it may be chilly in October—layers or a light jacket are a good idea. And don’t forget your dancing shoes!
Can I bring a plus-one?
To keep our ceremony and dinner reception intimate, we’re only able to accommodate the guests named on the invitation. That said, anyone is welcome to join us for the after-party at 8 PM!
Will there be an open bar?
We’ll be offering an open bar during cocktail hour and throughout dinner. After dinner, it will transition to a cash bar. If you’re joining us for the after-party, we recommend bringing a payment method for drinks.
Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?
We’re doing our very best to accommodate all dietary needs, including allergies and food preferences. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly!
Is there parking at the reception?
Yes! The Olympia Restaurant is located in downtown Lindsay, with street parking and a large municipal lot behind the building. As it’s a Saturday, it may be a bit busier in the downtown core, so give yourself extra time to find a spot. Overnight parking is permitted, and several taxi services are available in the area if needed.
Are you registered anywhere?
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! We're not doing a traditional registry, so there is no obligation to bring anything beyond your love and good vibes.
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
We’re having an unplugged wedding and kindly ask that you refrain from taking or sharing photos or videos during the event. We’d love to keep the moment private and look forward to sharing our professional photos with you afterward.
Who can I contact for additional questions?
Feel free to reach out to Christina at catxdedes@gmail.com with any additional questions before the big day!
